Yes. The Phase 3 condo townhomes are bungalow-style homes with main-floor living in mind. Current listing examples include open-concept kitchen, dining, and living areas, main-floor laundry, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and attached garage parking.

7. Do the Westlinks townhomes have basements?

Yes. The condominium bungalow townhomes are offered with full basements. The prices include an unfinished basement with a bathroom rough-in, and buyers may opt to upgrade to a basement finishing package.

8. Can buyers choose upgrades or finishes?

Depending on the construction stage and the specific unit, buyers may be able to personalize finishes or ask about upgrade selections.

Condo Fees & Rules

9. Are condo fees required at Westlinks?

Yes. For the Phase 3 condo townhomes, the current monthly cost is $338.41 for the condo fee, plus a mandatory $161.59 Sports Club membership. The Sports Club membership can be transferred, but it remains mandatory for the unit owner. A limited-time incentive is also available: the developer will pay the first three years of condo fees as an $18,000 credit on closing. Fees, membership terms, and incentives are subject to change, so speak with a Westlinks sales representative or listing Realtor for current details and the required clause.

10. Are pets allowed in the Westlinks condo townhomes?

Yes, pets are allowed with restrictions. Condo rules require pets to be leashed and under control outside the unit, owners must clean up after pets, and nuisance pets may be addressed by the board.

11. Are BBQs allowed?

Yes, condo rules allow barbecuing, provided it does not cause discomfort or annoyance to other occupants.

12. What should owners know about parking?

Vehicles are to be parked in the unit driveway or garage. Visitor parking pads are also available.

Buying Process

13. How does the HST rebate work on a new Westlinks condo?

The purchase price includes any applicable HST, provided the buyer qualifies for the full rebate and assigns the rebate to the vendor. Rental rebate eligibility, assignment, and timing can be different from the owner-occupier rebate, so buyers should review their intended use with a lawyer or accountant before firming up a purchase. If a buyer does not qualify for the rebate, additional HST-related amounts may be payable, so this should be reviewed carefully with a lawyer or accountant before firming up a purchase.
